I warmed up with Alek and Travis, and did our usual routines. I was seeded 4th in our heat. right when the gun went off I knew it was going to go out fast. I dropped immediately to last place and fell off the pack about 5 meters but I still came through at 28 for the first 200. I hit the first lap at 60 and started to real in the pack. When I had 150 meters left my groin started to tighten up really bad because of how sore it was. I couldn't sprint all out because I felt like it was going to tear so i missed state qualifying by .16 of a second. I'll get it next week. I cooled down 20 minutes with Alek.
