Well guys I'm back!!! After a well needed 2 week break of no running, it felt good to get back to it today. For the passed 2 weeks I've been just playing other sports to stay a little active. I was trying to gain 15 pounds to hit 150 just for the fun of it but sadly my metabolism is to fast haha :P When I weighed myself this morning I weighed 136.8. I guess it just wasn't meant to be :'( but anyways... today I did 8 minutes of core and then I met up with a couple of the guys. I ran to the school to meet them and we were off. about 16 minutes into the run for them (20 for me) Alek and I started to pull away from everyone. So we just decided to continue with that pace. We were running the normal 8.5 mile loop but for me it since I ran from my house it would be a little over 9. It wasn't until 27 minutes into the run that I decided I wanted to get home sub 60... haha so I started to pick up the pace more. I knew I would have to negative split the rest of the run pretty hard. It wasn't long until I started to gap Alek. Once we were off the trails, I waited for him to catch up really quick then took off again. When I had about 3 miles left, I looked at my watch and saw I still had to pick up the pace. So again I left Alek. Sadly my stomach started to give me really bad problems and I had to uh... stop and use a tree and leaves..... lol. Alek caught back up to me and once we got to the park I went and used the actual bathroom. Alek kept going and I just started after him once I was done. I got to the school and I saw I only had 2 minutes and 50 seconds to get home to go sub 60, but I knew that only average when im going really fast it takes me 3 mintues to get home. So I kind of took off like I was running an 800 haha. When I got to my street I started to sprint to try to make it. At my house I litterally leaned like I was finishing a race and stopped my watch to see that I barely made it running 59:59.22 hahaha. Pretty great run for my first day back.

Oh by the way a couple days ago I officially decided to run for Utah State University so I'll walk on the team starting in the fall semester.

Not going to lie but this mornings run was miserable. I got to bed pretty late so I didn't wake up to go run with any of the guys. I end up just going by myself. I ran from my house, to the park and up the trail, to the end up pipe and back. it took be about 59 minutes total for the run. I kid you not, I had a head wind the whole entire time which pissed me off because I was already tired from yesterday. Then to make matters worse I began chafing down below because of my stupid shorts. The whole run just sucked. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

Today was better than yesterday. I ran from my house to the park and up the trials. I then went out on exercise trail and then back. On my way back I ran into Alydia and we talked for about 5 minutes. I then continued on mt. Ogden trail to 29th street, out to st. Joes and then back home. Almost home I ran into mike and ran with him for a minute just to talk really quick I got home at around 59 minutes.

Later on I went and played some intense ultimate Frisbee at the park. I know I'm going to be sore so I'm worried about tomorrow but oh well I guess haha.

i'm calling this run the 2nd worst run of my life. I started from my house and ran roads to weber state. the whole time I just felt terrible so I stopped and stretched a little. Then I continued from the football parking lot out to the church on Old Post road. Once I got there I was ready to be done. The whole run I just felt like I was dying and tying up like at the end of a race. I sat on the sidewalk and rested more. The guy who's house I was sitting in front of pulled up in his driveway. He asked if I had hurt myself but I told him I just felt terrible. He offered me some water which I gladly took. I ended up talking to him for about 15 minutes. He was a really nice and great person and I was happy to have met him. I then left and finished my run back home without stopping. my finishing time was like 58 miutes.

I met with the guys at Weber State. We just went flat out to pipe and back. Little by little guys dropped off until it was just Alek and I. When we got back to Weber, we continued out for another half mile and then back to make it a full 8 miles. 56-ish minutes.

I ran to the highschool and met up with Alek. We just went straight into the run without stopping and without saying a single word to each other. We knew we were just gonna do the normal 8 1/2 mile loop. It wasn't until 29th street that Alek asked if I wanted to lead and I just said no. The starting pace of the run was pretty decent but we just progressively picked up the pace little by little. When we finished at the school, we went and ran a mile on the track just finishing the pace we were already going. We ran a 5:58 which felt really comfortable and then I left and finished at my house. 70 minutes.

I met up with Mike and did the normal loop. We went the long way around the park just to get more time. At about 45 minutes into the run, I don't know why but my body just gave up pretty much. The last 15 minites were pretty crappy but I still finished. 65 minutes.

I met up with Alek at the highschool and we just went and ran easy loops around the park. It was a nice little recovery run. We averaged 7:40's for 8 miles so my final time was 61 minutes.

Second run I just ran by myself. It was really hot today. I ran from my house up to 29th street and utill I was at 18 minutes and then back to my house finishing 5 miles in 35 minutes. I felt a little better than my first run.

I ran by myself today. I ran from my house up to the park and up the trail to 36th street. I went up and out exercise trail and then on my way back, I decided to run the new WSU Discovery trail. I rant the south trail which was really steep and had a lot of switch backs. At the top, I ran all the way across to waterfall canyon and went down to 29th. Then back through the golf course and then home. I felt pretty decent today. 59 minutes.

I did the same run as yesterday except I ran it with Mike. We went the long way around the park and we also ran the North WSU Discovery trail which wasn't as steep and it was a lot more enjoyable. We went pretty slow today. 63 mins.

For my second run, I went around 3 pm. I just ran to the park and up to 29th street. I had to used the bathroom so I stopped at the trail head really quick to go. When I came out, there was a runner that I recognized from the Weber State team getting a drink of water. He took off running and after I got a drink I took off to catch him. His name was Brett and he was a really cool and nice guy. We got carried away talking and I ended up running all the way back to Weber State with him before i realized what I was doing haha. I then just made it home. It was about a 6 mile run in 43 minutes.

I met with Mike in the morning and we decided to run pipe and back. We ran the long way around the park for more time. We went pretty slow today but we were both fine with it. 63 minutes.

I went and got a massage today and it was probably the most painful massage ever!! I've never been so tight in my life and Cory said it was the tightest he has ever seen my legs. I know tomorrows run would probably suck.

Today I was planning to run on my own because of how sore I felt from the massage. I ran to the high school and saw Alek waiting there. I just decided to run with them instead. Brad Barton and Garret showed up and soon after Mike did. We decided to run the normal loop but adding in exercise trail. The run was really nice and easy because we had Brad lead because he just felt terrible from his workout the day before. Brad left us when we got the the pond but we kept going. Then Garret left us to head down 29th street. Alek, Mike, and I finished the run a little faster pace than what Brad had originally set. It was a good run. 78 mins.

Mike and I drove up to Weber State to run with the highschool team. Mike and I killed it to 29th street and did a turn around for the guys. The both of us ran out to wood chip trail and then back while they stretched. Finally it was just down to the big dogs and we ran to the end of pipe. Mike took off after pipe but I Just hung back with Alek and Garret. We went up 22nd street trail all the way up to pride rock. Then across to bobsled's. Garret turned down early at strong's. Alek and I finished on the road back to Weber State. 63 minutes

Today's run was pretty fun actually. I ran up to the school to meet the guys but they took too long so I just left them and ran by myself. It was POURING rain so thats why I didn't feel like waiting. I ran up to the park then up the trails to Exercise trail. I ran it out the the end and back. this part was really fun because of all the mud and puddles but the grass hanging over the trail sucked because it scratched my legs pretty bad. I then went on Mt. ogden trail out to 29th and then on the road to st. joes and back home. I felt really good on this run and killed it. 55 mins.

On my second run I felt pretty good again. I just ran from my house to Wood chip trail and back. 37 mins.

I went running with this morning by myself. I ran to the school, up to the park, and up the trails. I ran into Brad Barton, and ended up running with him for like 5 minutes. Any chance to run with a masters world record holder must be taken advantage of haha. We ran to Weber state and he was done but I kept going. I ran to the Dee events center and then up to bues pond. I ran from bues to exercise trail and then mt. ogden trail down to 29th, then back home. 57 mins.

For the second run, I ran to the park with Mike and just did mile loops and back home. average 7:05's. 35 mins.

I ran from my house and met up with Alek at the school. we just ran the normal loop. We didn't really want to push the pace. 65 mins.

Pretty cool that I found out today that Our top 5 fastest 2mile conversions gets us ranked 22nd in the nation post season. With Mike 9:17 (9:30), Alek 9:24 (9:37), Garret 9:24 (9:38), Me 9:27 (9:40), and Harrison 9:45 (9:59) for a converted average time of 9:27. Taking the average of our non-converted times would still put us at 9:40 and would still rank us at 45th so thats really cool!

I ran from my house up to the park and up the trails. I ran out on exercise trail the the end and then back and I turned up Discovery trail. At the top I ran to strongs and ALMOST FREAKIN DIED!!! I zoned out and came a foot away from stepping on rattle snake!!! It scared that crap out of me!! for the rest of the run I was so focused on the trail. I ran to Waterfall and down to 29th then back across the golf course and home. 59 mins.

For my second run, I ran up past 29th St. and back home. 36mins.

I kept going on exercise trail and then back across Mt. Ogden trail to 29th. Then I ran out to St. Joes and back to 29th and back home. 58 mins.

My second run sucked. My stomach was upset the whole time. I just ran roads. 35 mins.
