Well guys I'm back!!! After a well needed 2 week break of no running, it felt good to get back to it today. For the passed 2 weeks I've been just playing other sports to stay a little active. I was trying to gain 15 pounds to hit 150 just for the fun of it but sadly my metabolism is to fast haha :P When I weighed myself this morning I weighed 136.8. I guess it just wasn't meant to be :'( but anyways... today I did 8 minutes of core and then I met up with a couple of the guys. I ran to the school to meet them and we were off. about 16 minutes into the run for them (20 for me) Alek and I started to pull away from everyone. So we just decided to continue with that pace. We were running the normal 8.5 mile loop but for me it since I ran from my house it would be a little over 9. It wasn't until 27 minutes into the run that I decided I wanted to get home sub 60... haha so I started to pick up the pace more. I knew I would have to negative split the rest of the run pretty hard. It wasn't long until I started to gap Alek. Once we were off the trails, I waited for him to catch up really quick then took off again. When I had about 3 miles left, I looked at my watch and saw I still had to pick up the pace. So again I left Alek. Sadly my stomach started to give me really bad problems and I had to uh... stop and use a tree and leaves..... lol. Alek caught back up to me and once we got to the park I went and used the actual bathroom. Alek kept going and I just started after him once I was done. I got to the school and I saw I only had 2 minutes and 50 seconds to get home to go sub 60, but I knew that only average when im going really fast it takes me 3 mintues to get home. So I kind of took off like I was running an 800 haha. When I got to my street I started to sprint to try to make it. At my house I litterally leaned like I was finishing a race and stopped my watch to see that I barely made it running 59:59.22 hahaha. Pretty great run for my first day back.

Oh by the way a couple days ago I officially decided to run for Utah State University so I'll walk on the team starting in the fall semester.
